I've finally finished the chair that goes with the desk...
I used a gold wash, followed by Duck Egg Chalk Paint and Old White for the details
The seat is upholstered in a lovely tapestry in shades of ivory and Duck Egg...
it's a bit off in the photos but matches perfectly in person
I didn't measure the chair to make sure it would fit the opening...
I just loved the chair too much!
Lucky me, it fits PERFECTLY
The details on this curvy French desk are fantastic...!
It will be up for grabs on Etsy later tonight...
I love the detailing and the colors! Fab job!
ReplyDeleteI can never look at that desk enough. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are very sweet and kind. Someone else did all the hard work...all I did was have the good sense to buy it and paint it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Patina! You just want to keep looking at this piece! I love the way you left the opening on the chair back, rather than upholstering it. So beautiful!

Just found your blog & I'm loving how you used the chalk paint, such inspiration. Do you remember the name of this fabric? It's so pretty & I'm trying to get ideas for my desk & chair. Thanks
