Fancy Flea 2012

This was our first time attending Fancy Flea 

as shoppers, and not vendors...

I have to admit, it was really nice to wake up

at 7:30 instead of 4am,

stop at Sbux

and make our way to Lakeland

without hauling a trailer behind us! 

It was also VERY nice to not have to deal

with unloading a block away from our space

and carry heavy furniture down the street!  

I will say, the event was very crowded,

and in my opinion, has outgrown

the stretch of streets it spans

As a shopper, I don't enjoy fighting crowds,

but I hope the crowds translated to $$$ for the vendors!

 The weather was perfect...

blue skies, 85 degrees, cool breeze...

(OK, so it could have been a LITTLE bit cooler!)

We saw lots of familiar faces

and met some new ones...

Overall, it was a lovely day!
