Seriously....as I the luckiest girls ever or WHAT?
This amazing mirror is straight out of France
Circa mid 1800's
The top curves outward, and even with the curve, it's 6ft tall
It's plaster and wood with precious Putti
and a basket full of wonderfulness
It's missing a piece of the basket, but I have it
It's had it's fair share of repairs over the years (centuries)
and it all adds to the charm and history of this amazing mirror
Do I paint it?
Preserve it?
Keep it?
Sell it?
Great score...As for painting it...girl it's what we do...go for it.
ReplyDeleteI think I better research it first...if that is 150 year old paint...I think I best be leavin' it alone...lol. It may kill me NOT to paint it, however.
ReplyDeleteI was also going to suggest checking on the paint...to make sure you won't be disturbing 150 paint fumes! ;) I love it though, its stunning just as it is...
