As we were loading these into the truck, my husband said
"I hate these chairs...you know they are orange, right?"
"You don't know how to reupholster" said the husband.
"and your point is?" was my annoyed reply.
So maybe I don't know how to reupholster...yet. But how could I leave these chairs behind?
How fabulous are they going to be painted and recovered??
Old White with linen covers. Or Paris Grey with white linen.
Swoon.

if you learn to upholster as well as you paint, you'll be a huge success! I love orange!
ReplyDeletewhat a sweetie you are, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI can do the basics, but all that tufting scares me...best leave that to the pros!
I love orange, too...just not nappy orange velour on French furniture! ha ha ha!
absolutely now way you could leave them behind- gorgeous. the orange would even be fun in the right home with modern accents. but LOVE the linen idea. good luck.......now, if i could just remember where I saw a reupohoslster an ottoman with buttons i'd post the link. it be a good start.
